Rest Bay – Porthcawl
Also back in September 2012 my mammy, daddy, sister and nanny took me down to Porthcawl for a splash in the sea. Rest Bay is a beautiful place and it was a beautiful, sunny day. There were lots of surfers in the water and so I showed them a few moves. We walked along the Welsh Coastal Path for a mile or so but to be honest I just couldn’t keep out of the sea! It was so cool and refreshing. It didn’t taste very nice though – yuk! Luckily when we got back to the car daddy had some clean water for me to drink – he’s thoughtful like that.
My daddy had one of his cameras with him and I remember he took a few photographs of me running at him and playing in the waves. I think it was his Canon 50D with the Canon 70-200mm, f2.8 L series lens, but I could be mistaken. Photography isn’t really my thing – paws can’t twiddle those knobs. Anyway, he took a lot of pictures and some of them were quite good. He certainly knows how to catch my good side, I’ll give him that! And that’s why this little story has a large gallery of images for you all to see.
My daddy also has a photography website in case you’re interested – click here.
